Yes. Velion DAW is 100% free — no subscriptions, no paywalls, no in-app purchases and no license keys. Download it, use it, forever.
Is there a premium version?
No. We believe professional music production should not sit behind a subscription. Velion is funded and maintained as free software.
Which platforms does Velion run on?
Velion runs on Windows (10/11, 64-bit), macOS (13+, ARM64 & Intel) and Linux (64-bit, AppImage).
Which plugin formats are supported?
VST3 on all three platforms. CLAP host support is planned for the future.
Can I use Velion commercially?
Yes. Velion is free for every use case — private, education or commercial. See the terms for details.
Are the plugins sold separately?
No. VelionEQ, VelionBass and VelionReverb ship with Velion DAW 1.0 — included, free, no separate purchase.
